Pilot GCSE Use of Mathematics and FSMQ Results

The pilot GCSE Use of Maths and FSMQ results are now available from the AQA website.

GCSE Use of Maths (Pilot) The cumulative percentages for each grade are given below with the corresponding results for all candidates following traditional GCSE Mathematics courses (available from the JCQ website):

Although the Use of Maths results are lower than those for all GCSE Mathematics candidates, they are much better than is often the case for post-16 candidates who are usually re-sitting GCSE or studying maths after a long break.

The pilot foundation and intermediate level FSMQs are included in GCSE Use of Mathematics but also available as stand-alone qualifications.
