AQA provides a variety of support materials that will help to prepare candidates for their FSMQ or AS: Use of Mathematics examinations. As well as past papers and examiners' reports there are also exemplar answers for each question on last year's paper.

Coursework Portfolio - Is it all there?

Each year the chief moderator at AQA is disappointed to find that the marks achieved by a large number of candidates for their coursework portfolios have to be reduced significantly because the portfolios are not complete. The penalties applied for incomplete portfolios can mean the difference between a pass and a fail or between a good grade and a lower grade.
The omission of just one section can be extremely costly in terms of marks and it is much better to include a poor or short attempt for a section than no attempt at all.

If you are entering portfolios this summer, try to ensure that all sections are included.
